Hostel 2

The sequel focuses on three girls who are studying in Italy for the summer and they get lured back to a lot of familiar places. It turns out that the Slovakian stopover is actually part of a chain and you'll see the ins and outs of the whole organization and how they get people and kill them. "Hostel 2" starts immediately where the first film left off.

I disagree...I think Eli Roth did a good job. It definitely wasn't what people expected, which is probably part of the reason some people didn't like it. People went into the theatre expecting pure sick shit, and they actually got a horror movie with a plot instead...It wasn't bad...PeACe

I heard the exact opposite; people thought this was going to be a horror film with an actual story (probably because of Tarentino's involvement) and instead they got a sick and twisted "10 ways to mutilate a person" blood n guts pic!

But I still haven't seen it myself I had the bootleg DVD when the movie hit the theatres but I lost it, the official US DVD has just been released so it should be "available" in good quality on the net pretty soon... 8)

That was probably the version that I lost I only saw the first minute or so to check the quality and it definitely wasn't a cam version...

Besides I'm only keeping a DVD if the movie is in DVD quality and has the widescreen version with 5.1 surround sound on it otherwise I'll just watch it once and give/throw it away afterwards...

The first one had a few brutal scenes, but for the most part it wasn't over-the-edge gore like people went in expecting...The story was actually quite interesting. The sequel will go into more detail regarding the plot, so it should be good...PeACe

Hopefully I will be able to watch it soon and even though I haven't seen it yet I hope they'll make a good sequel not something like they did with Saw 2 which basically was just a (bad) re-run of the first movie...

I liked "Saw 2"...And I heard "Saw 3" is going to be the most sadistic of the 3.

First one was pretty weak. It just got alot of hype because of Tarantino's backing and the sick ass trailer.
