Pharell in '04 VS Pharell in '06
« on: June 14, 2006, 01:36:31 AM »
We know Pharell got the skill to drop a good summer jam but honestly I'm not feelin "Number One" ft. Kanye as much as I felt "Frontin" ft. Jay-Z.  Everything about Frontin' was better, flow, beat, guest spot its just 200% better.  Number One is pretty dope, and it may grow on me later on but as it stands Frontin>>>>>>>>>>>>>Number One

what ya'll think?

Yep! agreed. I'm a big Pharrell fan. I like him with Nerd the best. However, rap is played out, R& B is hanging by a thread. Pharrell needs to do some stuff thats totally unexpected. Kinda what like Prince did when he left R& B and went "New Wave" in the eighties.

Agreed.  Number One is a good track but Frontin has that summer vibe to it.  He probably has some better tracks on his album though.

One of the few albums I'll actuallt check out this summer. Frontin' was the better song, but hey, I'll take Number One too.

I don't really like that Kanye track, but I've only heard it a couple times.  Frontin was pretty good looking back on it, but it got REALLY fucking played out, at least in my area.

I'm gonna reply to this once and ONLY once:

-Last time I checked Suge was a CEO not a rapper...
-Everybody's entitled to their own opinion but you probably never even heard anything by the artists pictured do you even know who those "shit rappers" in the pictures are?
-I know the pictures are big but I couldn't reduce them to a smaller size and I really wanted those pics in my sig so there!
-Whether they will release an album remains to be seen but that couldn't have been your reason for making a second comment already about my sig yes/no? Two words probably describe the answer: Death Row. I know alotta people on here might not like Death Row (anymore) and again I respect their opinion but at least they got the decency not to bust my balls about it everytime my sig reminds them of it!
-...*taking a breath*...Besides if I had "4 fucking big pictures" of <put Jip's favourite artist(s) here> you probably would have propped me!
-And to that other dude's "GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH YOUR BIG ASS SIG" reply... Aah fuck it such a post isn't worth replying to, well written though!

Sorry for the interruption carry on...
