Dreadlocks

So I've decided to get dread locks, I'm wondering if anyone on the board has locks already or has experience with them, Im thinkin I want thin short dreads not the big ass fat blood clot dreads or whatever they're called.  If u know something drop some knowledge please.

uh yeah, dont wash your hair or comb it until it starts to stick together, and if you get thick pieces just pull them apart

yeah i dont know about that, i just knew about the old natural way, i tried it once but my head started to really fuckin smell bad so i washed it, lol

man since Id ecided I will I've noticed quite a few people with dreads and dome of em just look.....you get the picture.
