i know it aint the only one who enjoyed this album. fuk the negativity.
after listening to this album a 5 straight times i must say its pretty damn good. Alot of tracks grew on me. theres 4 tracks that should've never made the album.
"Its all Good" by Battlecat is another LA anthem.

4 mics atleast for this album.
it has like the hot westcoast tracks aswell as south coast and eastcoast type songs which make the album more diverse and solid.
It also has the songs that u won't like at first but they kinda grows on you eventually when u get lil tired of the songs u had on repeat.
Only thing I didn't like was how kurupts verses on a few songs just sounded the same old .........the word motherfucker, bitch being used so many times and...the bin laden etc shit.

glad you made this thread.....Im feeling the album for the most part////dont really like the song with Paul Wall, and the one with David Banner woulda sounded better on his own album IMO.....But there are some serious bangers on there.....Slow your Roll is fuckin crazy, Im really feelin Heavyweights too.....And Snoop did a great job rapping on this album. Kurupt was kind of a let down tho...But Im still feellin it.

Only listened through it once, and I gotta say it's a pretty mediocre album, like I expected.
Surprised to see 2 of the Soopafly beats being among the dopest, while Battlecat haven't really made a new beat the last 3-4 years.
And the Alchemist track would have been the best one if it was on the album.

bangin' album.. i'm not really sure what people expected from Daz, Kurupt & Snoop Dogg this time around. Sure, Kurupt sounds like shit on a few albums but it's not a new thing. And "Battlecat fell off"?? What the fuck, he produced like 4 songs on the album and the only one I probably won't listen to again is Stop Lyin'.
I especially like the view that this album sucks because dpg aren't 'creative' or 'deep'. If you want deep get the Ice Cube album, if you want creative go buy anything Quannum or Hiero put out. Dogg Pound have never been what you'd call personal. Whatever though, to me this is straight, 4/5 easily. Not as good as the Cube album but definitely something I'll be bumping when Summer comes around (down here).
On a side note - these were the exact same reactions to the 213 album, and that grew on people heaps. Then again, I never hated the 213 album either. Or R&G for that matter. People just need to hate, i guess
