I was just cleanin up my bookmarks, came across this forum and dudes is saying that quik was on stage at some concert recently and had fruit thrown at him.

"DJ Quik got pelted by fruit at his last show and was too angry to appear on a scheduled taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Apparently, Quik was hit by tomatoes, onions, kiwi, oranges, and even cantaloupes. He was too upset and subsequently canceled his performance on TV. B-Real was kind enough to fill in for the missing lunatic."

"That was the Monday night show on my birthday (June 19th) I was at that muthafuccer but I was up in the VIP lounge (Foundation Room) I got the hookup through a friend of mine who knows Quik's manager and I got to meet quik after the show and HE WAS PLENTY PISSED! But he held it together enough to say what up to me and wish me a happy birthday. Best Birthday EVER! Too bad some punk muthafuccin haters had to chuck fruit at him. Wish i would've seen em.
