They don't want soccer to become big in the US because you can't put a lot of commercials into it
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Until soccer has TV timeouts, it will never be big in the states...

Americans don't hate soccer, Americans dont get a chance to like it.

In fact, american kids play more soccer than football, but then they eat Mcdonalds and Burger King, and get fat... then they can't run, and decide to be lineman instead.

Only in America!

Or maybe soccer is just too gay to be popular in America. You aren't going to catch any straight male here in the U.S. running around in short shorts and knee high socks.

I mean seriously, soccer is very gay. I watched like 5 minutes of the US game with Italy. There was one play where a player got kicked in the shin and he went down to the ground like he had been shot. He was laying there rolling around in agonizing pain. Then two guys bring out a STRECTHER and take him off the field. All because he was kicked in the shin.....I mean come on.

No true American likes soccer. Neither do Canadians.

One of the most popular sports in America is wrestling. If that ain't gay, I don't know what is.

In football I see men in tight pants grabbing each other's intimate parts.

It was not long ago when men in shorter shorts than today's soccer shorts played basketball in the NBA.
