How long does it take you to post?

Alright, since the board is moving wretchedly slow, let's make something out of it...everyone count how many seconds it takes the page to load after you press post and post the number here...My last post took 49 seconds to post...Has someone cracked the minute mark? I'm wondering if people still use dial-up...it must take them months for their post to show up.

from an hour ago (6pm UK time) to now.. and for another hour or so is when the forum is at its worse.. i've improved things browsing wise.. but posting wise is just down to the fact that so much access makes posting (writing to the database) slow..

It seems like it has stretches when it moves at good speeds...Then it goes back to moving super slow for a period of time. And it switches back and forth very often...

^ yeah the changes i've made means it recovers well now.. when its quiter the forum flies..

it'll be getting upgraded to the supposedly faster version soon.. should be able to search again too  :D

Yea, it's amazing how quickly the speeds switch up on here...Never seen anything like it before.
