WCC T-Shirt Logo Design Competition- OVER NOW VOTE

You are designing only the front of the t-shirt. This is your only concern.
Entry method 1 : upload entries to the web and link it in the gallery thread in the main forum.
Entry method 2 : email them to overseer@igangsta.com.
You can make as many entries as you like.
The prize is a a t-shirt and mouse mat with the design on.
Last date for entries is Feb 1st 2002, voting will then commence on the final logo's for the period of two weeks.
Anyone that votes will get their name on the back of the shirt.
Other submitted logo's may also be put into production, but only the voted winner gets a free t-shirt and mouse mat.

Source image size and shape doesnt matter, just make sure its not tiny, bigger the better (shit can always be scaled down that way).
Logo position can either be central, or in the "breast pocket" position. (sweater arms etc cannot be printed on).
The colour white is transparent on the t-shirts (t-shirts will available in white or gray).
Include the text "West Coast Connection Forum" and "http://forum.igangsta.com" somewhere.
Avoid using representations of single rappers/groups as this will alienate people who aren't fans of them
When choosing slogans remember we are multi-racial and multi-cultural.
Be prepared to tweak text if spelling mistakes etc are found.

Ohh one more thing.... could all the 'connected' sites up top please advertise this competition.

All connected site names will appear *with links* on the back of the t-shirt. if you aren't a 'connected' site and want to be, apply. (the main requirements are 1) i dont hate you, 2) you post regularly on the board 3) the site is west coast based)

We'll have proper banners/buttons for the connected shit in a little while.

yo cool idea, im in.
I made some t-shirts for my work, in what kind of format do you want to have the logo, photoshop (eps/psd) or illustrator (eps)?

and can you tell me how you gonna print it, in a copy shop or are you gonna press/print it with 4 colours (cmyk)?

some suggestions:

if you use the photoshop format use these settings:
-image size (thats up to the designer) but its gotta fit on a t-shirt...
-resolution: higher than 300 pixels/inch
-image mode: cmyk (for all the colours)for the best results
save in photoshop.eps (otherwise different thats up to the copyshop how they are gonna use the file).


if you are gonna press/print it
use an illustrator format (eps) its all vector based, all the logo t-shirts are made this way, that is the best thing u can have.

There will be 1 week of voting (one vote each).
