Just by watching the trailer I have a strong feeling they will fuck it up. To me it´s just another of those ordinary "something evil attacks mankind" movies.  ... but okay, it was just a trailer.. I hope I´m wrong.

I´m also really looking forward to it cause TF were the shit back when I was a child (and I still watch a few episodes on dvd from time to time) but I know that I  might be disappointed. In that case I´m just gonna watch the animated movie again.  

I´m curious which transformers gonna be involved.. I hope they don´t add bumblebee.. lol

http://www.transformersthemovie.com/ (unofficial fan site) summarizes an update on Michael Bay´s news blog and say that none of the footage seen in the trailer will be in the movie.

I hope that means that they won´t waste 20 minutes of the movie just to introduce the transformers...

I haven't watched the trailer, but I'm assuming it's animated.....if not....shiet, this movie will prolly suck ass.

That's funny I'm busy watching the first 99 episodes (+ the animated movie) of the old cartoon right now...

But this live action movie is either going to be very good or very, VERY bad...

it'll be bad, because they're focusing on the human element too much and because they're mixing the characters up (bumblee a camaro, soundwave a helicopter, megatron a tank etc..)

im still looking forward to it, but i'll be burning down a few houses if they fuck this movie up

Well, the decepticons didn´t come to earth to kill all mankind but to take the planet´s energy.. OK basically it might be the same but they did it to survive!! lol

Movie won´t be animated as far as I know, the trailer isn´t either.
