tha first one i can rememba, that standz out is "Push It" frum  Salt n Peppa. I know there was more before that, i jus cant rememba em lol. first tape i owned...Fresh Prince n DJ Jazzy Jeff. "Rock The House" lol. that was my SHIT. Jazzy was tight az hell back then.

I remember seeing Salt 'n Pepa's video "Let's talk about sex" on MTV... But the 1st song that got me listenin' to rap an' buyin' albums went something like this...

"One, two, three an' to the fo'
Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre is at the do'
Ready to make an entrance, so back on up
[Cause you know we 'bout to rip shit up]"

The rest is hip-hop history...

The first song i heard was a fatboys one, and then i went and bought the tape with my mom!  THE FAT BOYS ARE BACK< AND YOU KNOW THEY COULD NEVER BE WACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

that funky brake tune by run dmc.....thats just the way it is or summat like that......it wasn't the one that brought my full attention to rap.....
