(Taking A Bullet for Hip Hop)
Hip-hop never ceases to amaze me, the way it has changed thru the years. It seems like every young rapper wants in the game and it puzzles me on just how far some of these young rappers will go.
Thugism has taken over hip hop for the past decade and it seems like in order to get a record deal you have to be some type of former drug deal or some type of so-called killer.
Female rappers of today’s hip hop standards rap about having oral sex, drinking babies and robbing so-called hustlers.
Today's gangster rap if far more graphic, infact rappers today try to actually live the life they claim on wax.
Rappers are going to jail in some cases more than the average thug on the street; their cases involve everything from robbery to murder.
Today's standard of so-called emcee battles is called 'beef' and rappers are taking it heart. Since the days of the late greats 2pac and Biggie, it seem the beefs in hip-hop had escalated to great heights. From having shootings at radio stations and fistfights at hotels and recording studios, have today’s artist taking this to far?
However the latest craze in hip-hop is getting shot and then running into the studio to brag about it.Since 2pac utter those famous words " They wonder how I lived with five shot's, Niggers are hard to kill on my block”, it seems like every rapper and his momma wants to brag about being shot. Its to no wonder why the streets are saying "is theses guys staging this or what?'
Is getting street credibility getting so hard in hip hop that one has to get shot to sell records?
Or is rappers are just staging these acts to get paid?
Since 2pac, many rappers have stolen his claim to fame, 50 Cent, Cam’ Ron, Beanie Sigel and BK's own Gravy. All have been shot and went straight to the studio to write songs about it. This makes me wonder what level these rappers will take it to next; pretty soon they'll be catching bodies.

these rappers don't deserve credibility....
they should be themselves...the reason that i think they can't make it into the game is because they can't rap anything else...
