Is Lil Jon gonna take over the west?

He seems to be focusing on the west right now. Can he get the same respect out here as a Battlecat, a Dre, a Quik etc? Personally my favorite West Coast joint by a non west producer is "Connected for life" by the Westside Connection feat Butch Cassidy, produced by Mannie fresh. That should have been saved for "Terrorist Threats".

Somethings off... you suggest Lil Jon taking over the west yet you compare him to So Cal producers.  From what I can tell the majority of his influence is in the Bay right now, so shouldnt the comparisons be made to producers like Rick Rock?  I'd say he could very well take over the Bay if he continues to invest in the Hyphy thing, but not The Westcoast.

I just asked the question, because I heard him say he wants to be big in the west. And the joint with Cube...I think he's saying "West Coast, ya'll need to come fuck with me"

But there some classic songs with simple beats. for instance-"rock the bells", "boyz in the hood", "Grindin"

The bay is the westcoast
But the Bay isn't the entire West Coast.

in my opinion, i like the idea of more producers coming into the west and revolutioning the sound.. but lil jon for me dont do it.. yeh he has produced some neat tracks but like someone else said in this thread after a while they get played out and becoming pretty annoying.

Most beats are simple, I think Dr Dre beats (1999+) are simple but everyone here thinks he's a genius.
