The beginning of the end of Outkast:
http://contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/outkasts%20one%20man%20tour_1002169

LATEST: OUTKAST have confirmed they will go ahead with a tour, despite ANDRE 3000's absence reducing the shows to one man. Andre 3000, real name ANDRE BENJAMIN, placed the gigs in jeopardy after revealing he has ditched touring to concentrate on his burgeoning acting career. But BIG BOI, the other half of the HEY YA! duo, confirms he will take the group's hits on the road on his own. Big Boi says, "I will be going out down the road. My brother (Andre), he's not doing this side of the fence, just chilling. But who knows what the future holds. We're gonna see what happens, 'cause we got the ball and it's first down."

Naw man, the beginning of the end was in '96, when Andre started rocking the turban, and it went from there. It's just that their chemistry is so good that they've lasted this long. In reality, it's a miracle that they've been making music as long as they have, thank god for that. Their breakup was bound to happen sooner or later.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

This has been known since before Speaker Boxx/Love Below came out. It's truly sad though. One of my all time favorite rap groups.  :'(

One of the last innovative acts left in hip-hop nowadays, this is a shame. I won't really be checking out there solo careers, and I'm not a big fan of Dre's acting either.

dre is probably a sell-out; anything for the money mentally.

Out of respect, I post the following verse:

Got stopped at the mall the other day
Heard a call from the other way
that I just came from, some nigga was sayin somethin
talkin bout "Hey man, you remember me from school?" smoke some
Naw not really but he kept smilin like a clown
facial expression lookin silly
And he kept askin me, what kind of car you drive, I know you paid
I know y'all got buku of hoes from all them songs that y'all done made
And I replied that I had been goin through tha same thing that he had
True I got more fans than the average man but not enough loot to last me
to the end of the week, I live by the beat like you live check to check
If you don't move yo' foot then I don't eat, so we like neck to neck
Yes we done come a long way like them Slim ass cigarettes
from Virginia, this ain't gon stop so we just gonna continue

or:

My mind warps and bends floats the wind count to ten
meet the twin Andre Ben. welcome to the lion's den
original skin many men comprehend
I extend myself so you go out & tell a friend
Sin all depends on what you believing in
Faith is what you make it that's the hardest shit since MC Ren
Alien can blend right on in wit' yo' kin
look again 'cause I swear I spot one every now & then
It's happenin' again wish I could tell you when
Andre this is Andre y'all just gon' have to make amends

Outkast ain't shit without Andre

quite the opposite, in the other article that was posted not too long ago, it said things about how he wanted to be playing saxaphone in a jazz club at age 60
