Is Mexico really that much better? I don't follow soccer, I just know that USA is on an uprise and heard that they're in contention with Mexico for who the better team is...Might not be true, have Mexico and USA played recently?

In the 2002 World Cup USA beat Mexico, that's what gave the feeling that US is coming up on their level, but they haven't been really doing anything vs Mexico these past 4 years(only 1 Victory on U.S Turf) During the World Cup qualifiers, Mexico would just experiment vs all the teams including the U.S.
