R.I.P. Dr. Dre Aftermath Records Once Again.
« on: January 17, 2002, 01:11:05 PM »
Dre is up to his old tricks again.  He dropped the Aftermath Presents album and then disappeared for a couple years.   Now he waited 2 years to drop the Wash Soundtrack, and he's going to disapear for another 2 years.  He wakes up every now and then to release an Eminem album, and executive produce Xzibit.  And then he disapears again.  Hitman's situation is just like King Tee's situation.  Same old story.

Dre has a lot of shit planned for 2002...Xzibit, Snoop, Eminem, Knoccturnal will all drop this year plus Dre did alot of outside work with other artists last year Eve, Busta, Mack 10...It's not like he was sitting on his ass plus he's a perfectionist so don't expect him coming out with halfass shit lot a lot of these artists do today...

Dre  isnt   Master P  or  DMX  .........  he aint gonna put out albums every month lol.      Dre  has been   busy  though as of late  producin for  alot of different artists , artists other than his Westcoast comrads. Thats somethin he has never done before .

When your a legend like Dre is    ......... you  only need to  pop up  every 5 years  , drop some classic shit ,   then let  everybody else  catch up.    Thats Greatness.

I agree with ya'll.  I'm probably as big or bigger Dre fan than most of you.  I'm just telling him to rest happily is all.  Enjoy his break.  LOL

Hell yeah, I'm getting all his shit, even if he just produced a r'n'b-track, i'd still get it.

Truly... Dre doesn't need to make anymore music, he's a legend... when he's all said and done... we will tell are great grandchildren stories about a magical wizard named Dr. Dre, who brought the best music to our ears... he is what legends are made of ... he's the G.O.A.T.

Word.  Ya'll can't blame me though for being upset when Dre passes on albums from Rakim and Hitman.  And I was disapointed with The Wash Project.  The first Dre project I've ever been disapointed with.  But he's still the greatest.
