Treach To Join Tha Row?
« on: January 16, 2002, 09:08:45 PM »
In a recent interview with Wendy Williams, Treach of Naughty By Nature said he had been talking to Suge Knight about signing with Tha Row to release a solo album. Treach has already appeared on the last two compilation albums from Tha Row on tracks with now ex-artist & niece of Suge, VK on the 'Chronic 2000 Still Smokin' compilation & with Crooked I & Scarface on the 'Too Gangsta For Radio' on the track 'Gangsta Rap'. Treach's ties with Suge go back to when 2pac was alive when he used to hang out with Suge & 'Pac. Nothing has been confirmed officially by Tha Row or by TVT Records, who will be releasing the next Naughty By Nature album, 'Iicons', which will feature an as yet unheard verse from 2pac on a track called 'Ashes To Ashes' which will be released April 9.

We heard rumors of 10 different rappers signing to thaRow, they using everything to get publicity. That's why they been talking 'bout Kurupt for a month now, and nobody even now if he's signed now, not even Antra Records. You heard 'bout Kurupt, Shyne, Bad Azz, Soopafly, Black Rob and now Treach. Even Dre was suggested by some funny guy, I dont listen to them rumors anyway, its gettin on me nerves, Suge sure knows how to get much attention, that's also why he disses Dre, Snoop, Xzibit, Eminem etc. Its a lil too eazy I think.

We've got
5 million ways to kill a CEO
Slap him up and shake him up
And then, you know,
Let him off the flo'
Than bait him with the dough

It doesn't matter who they sign, it's who's albums are actually released, obviously they aren't going to release albums from 10 different artists.
