The Bay is West Coast, no matter what they say up there. The Bay is apart of California no matter what they say or call it up there.

The Bay will always be 2nd best in California and 2nd best on the West Coast no matter what they say up there.

The Bay is L.A.'s younger brother, who has alot of talent and wants to establish his own identity and not be in the shadows of his older brother. Younger Bro needs to face reality and realize that Big Bro will ALWAYS be BIGGER.  :P

Kinda like Dr.Dre and Warren G  :P

Being from LA, I think the bay has some general animosity towards us for sure whether they want to admit it or not.  I kind of dont blame them because they've been unjustly placed 2nd to us for so long yet they've always been the trend setters of our region.  You hear little things in the music like when Turf Talk said: "I rep the bay, we dont rep california... Imm lyyyin.." from Muscle Cars.  Or I've seen pictures where dudes are wearing T-Shirts with that quote (minus the "Im Lyyinnn.")

So theres animosity for sure but its all love.  There's only one Westcoast as far as I see.  I rep LA first, but I for sure rep the whole state and got mad love for the Bay.  It's their time to shine and no matter how many folks wanna hate on Hyphy, they still gon' shine.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure..

i've always said the bay area segregates themselves from the westcoast.  you never hear too short, e-40 or the rest of them saying "i'm trying to bring the westcoast back"  NEVER. its always "the bay this, the bay that, we do it for the bay" etc..

as for the so cal rappers, like Game, ice cube, snoop are always like "we trying to bring the west coast back" "west, west ya, westsiiide,etc.."  notice they never rep for only LA or u never hear them rep so cal, its "west" & thats the way it should be.

"rep the bay, we dont rep california" ...turf talk has alot of nerve to say something stupid like that, even if he said "im lyin" which is hard to understand in the song. the idiot is from San Bernadino, spent his whole life there now hes trying to be Mr. Bay Area.. fuck him.

LOL..I see I hurt your feelings too :'(.....Miss me with that "you ain't neva been up here"...Trust that I've been to the Bay and up and down California....from Diego to Delano to Arcata...I've been up, down around and inside the Bay area for probably longer than you've been alive bitch boy....So don't come talkin that "you'll get smoked if come to the Bay", cuz I stay reppin LA in a blue Dodger coat, fitted, and chuccs and ain't nobody ever said a fuccin thang to me...Niggaz in the Bay area was actually on some respect and chill shit...The only time a nigga ever said anything to me was when I came out the house and some nigga said we don't bang in the Bay, like I needed to know that shit...I got love for the Bay area..it's you sensitive faggots that don't want to face reality and facts about being 2nd best. It's not bias it's the TRUTH :o

The Bay separates itself from the West Coast, partly becuase they are mad that they weren't featured on albums by LA artist when the West was dominating. I guess they feel disrespected, like LA was suppose to hold there hands every step of the way and feed and burp them, well get the fucc over it..It's plenty LA niggaz and artist that continuly show love to the Bay..Snoop, Daz, Dj Quik, & Mc Eiht are just a few off top...The Bay never says lets get a West Coast movement going, no it's all about "The Hyphy Movement" and "It's the Bay's time to shine"..Sorry but the Bay is 2nd best and they are on the West Coast & they are located in Cali..so fucc you

BTW..Ice T circa 1982-1987

LOL...U Mad? Fag
Fuck that fake ass crip Crip2nite.  Gets on my nerves how some people on these forums

maybe rappers from the bay dont rep the west coast by saying west coast this, and west coast that because they don't need to or want to

I always hoped L.A. and the Bay would come together and make a new sound. I thought that would be better than L.A. and New York comin together, most of those collabos are wack though I like NewYork. Too Short is from L.A., he could be sayin' stuff like "aint nobody more Cali than me. Born in L.A., became a man in the Bay". But he chooses to just say "Bay". If you twist his arm he'll tell you he's from L.A.. A lot of this animosity comes from Prison. The Bay and L.A. dont fight a lot in prison, but they dont like each other that much. We cant let jailbirds tell us how to think.
