Soopafly album out this Summer
« on: January 14, 2002, 10:25:19 PM »
This tight news comes straight from WWW.WESTCOAST2K.CJB.NET( ;))

"Soopafly Warren G, Snoop and Too $hort went to the porn awards in Las Vegas. Snoop Dogg won 2 Porn awards, 1 for best music in a porn video and one for best selling Porn Video of 2001. Soopafly said his album is droppin this Summer on Dogghouse with all new songs. Guests include the dogg pound clique (Kurupt?) and he is gonna try to get Layzie Bone on it as well. He also said that he was shocked and everybody still is when he heard about Kurupt goin back to Tha Row".

If his album will be out this summer, when will be out snoop dogg's new album?
Before soopafly's one or after?

all I can say about this is about fuckin time.  I've been waiting for a Soopafly album (not that album Daz has been bootlegging) for a long ass time.  Hopefully it'll be tight when it drops.  Hopefully after that they'll release The Twinz album, if they are signed to the label.

No, someone should ask Snoop or Dre in an interview who is officially on their label's, cause that's what we care about.  No one really knows for sure bout Aftermath & Doggystyle.

RBX is on Korn's label.  Battlecat & Lost Angels are on B.C. Powda/Future Sound, but I think they will release an album through Doggystyle.  Meech Wells has his own label now.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Check it
Battlecat - B.C Powda inc./Future Sound Entertainment
RBX - Dogghouse (According to my latest info)
Lost Angels - Dogghouse
Fred Wreck - Dogghouse
Bad Azz - Dogghouse but through Priority (He still have a deal if Snoop let him go)
Meech Wells - In a zone productions
Mac Minista - Dogghouse I think
Jelly Roll - Future Management inc.
Daddy V - Dogghouse I think

But they all more or less on Dogghouse, they just got their own
publishing, and/or subdivisons of Dogghouse, just like Eminem got Shady Records through Aftermath or like Jigga got Carter Faculty through Roc-a-fella. Its like a subdivision of a subdivision of a subdivison etc.
Example:
Interscope
owns
Def Jam
who owns
Roc-A-Fella
who owns
Carter Faculty

So when Jigga is signed to Def Jam and thereby Interscope, he also got his own label, Roc-a-fella (Together with Dame Dash etc.) And is now also totally in charge of Carter Faculty, its just  a way of sharing power/money, yaknow.
