Hi everybody, and Overseer, please excuse the off-topic post.  

I'm sure most of you know my dad died in april of last year.  Now, we found out today that my mom has colon cancer; she had been in the hospital for about 4 days, because she was having abdominal pains.  A catscan today showed that her colon had burst, and they performed emergency surgery monday evening about 5pm.  They removed 3/4's of her colon, and believe they got all of the cancer, but there's of course the likelyhood that it spread to other parts of her body, or they couldn't see some microscopic cancerous cells somewhere else.  

If you can, I'd just ask for any of you that feel like it to keep her in your thoughts, and to pray for her recovery.  She'll eventually have to have another surgery, to reattach her colon, until then she has a bag on her side for her waste.  

I've got a 14 year old brother who's really close to being an orphan, and i'm a nervous wreck, I dunno what i'm gonna do.  Anyways, I just thought I'd share that with you, i've got a lot of faith in prayer, so if any of you feel like it, please do.

Man, Ima pray extra hard, cuz I can relate 2 dat.......My aunt who I practically lived wit till I waz like 10 got colon cancer 2 years ago and it exploded (bursted..wateva) and it waz such a bitch.......She is a very religious person so I believe god helped her tremendously cuz about 4 months ago doctors revealed that there was no spreading and tha whole alert situation was over.......

Anyways just keep ya head up, She'll get through wit it........

Man, I'm feel you pain. I don't talk about it much cause it was a very sad and scary time in my life but I lost my grandma when I was 11. I know it was just my grandmother but I had known her since I could remember and she was almost more of a mother than my own. I couldn't imagine being in your situation.

I will most definitely keep you in my prayers because it works no doubt, I've seen it happen from my own experiences. God bless you and your family.
