"Suge Knight - nothing special"..........look, whether you love him or hate him, you've really got to give him credit for building an extremely powerful, influential and successful label.
Sure, Dre did the music, and there were many talented artists involved, but Suge put it all together, did the deals, kept everything (well....almost..lol) together and made it work.
I don't think people appreciate how difficult the business side of it all is.
You've only got to look at snoop nowadays.....he's got talent, he can hire whatever producers he wants, but he isn't doing THAT well. He ain't starving, for sure, but ain't he asking himself where all the sales are.....?

What the fuck makes the difference ?
Do you think an Tha Row record would jump from wood to platinum because Suge is back ? Does he promote the records ? No. >:( Last time I checked Suge wasn't a recording artist.
And who the fuck says Doggystyle ain't sellin' ???
I believe both Tha Eastsidaz albums is platinum (at least the first one) , ain't that right?

Alright, this is my last post today...I've gotta go cook...lol.
First, I never said Doggystyle, or Dogghouse, or whatever ain't selling. The point I was trying to make is why isn't he, and all the artists on his label selling MORE. Cos the sales he's getting, for an artist of his calibre are not that great if you look at the rap industry as a whole.
Secondly, if you think the C.E.O. being in jail ain't gonna affect a company's performance, then you ain't living in the real world. I'm not saying Tha Row WILL DEFINATELY get back to the level of D.R., but if you think Suge didn't play a HUGE part in D.R.s success, you don't understand the music business, or business in general.

But you can't tell me why if will affect sales. ::) Is it Suge's charisma? Does peopke love Suge ? Because he is on Hot97 ? Because he signed Kurupt ? You haven't named a reason.
Every album Snoop Dogg has released has went platinum/multiple platinum. That is a great acheivement
is today's illegal music trade.

do you all want me to straighten thingz out here? listen to ..::N-IMY::.. <<he is the one that has made tha most sense.....

but one thing he has got wrong in my view is that i like dre and snoop.....but i don't hate suge....

and pussy? yeah....suge is big that's why he will walk down compton with only a few bodyguards.....but it also true that dre been made to look like that much of a fool and a faggot that he would need the whole police department to go with him.....i don't think he is a pussy.....but almost every member of tha row dissed him when he left the label....that's why......but then comes the restraining order......i like the way dre put him to shame for that.....

but here is another thing too.....suge was backing thingz up financially on tha row.....and dre was making all tha music...i would say that suge would have got nowhere without dre....but dre couldn't have made music without suge paying.. unless he stayed with ruthless and had the piss took out of him by eazy for tha rest of his career.....

really u can say they both deserve the credit.....but today suge aint shit really.....though i aint ridin' none of their dicks!!!"

It's kind of Ironic....

You like Snoop so much.. but why? That's what he raps about, "DPG 4 Life".. "Long Beach 4 Life"... "Gangsta 4 Life"... but then you dislike Suge... but that's exactly what Suge is. He's an old ass Gangster. What Snoop and them Rap about... Suge does. He puts hits on people, has money, and just kicks back like he's unfadeable.... "That's Gangsta".

I'm not judging you... I'm just saying... it's Ironic. It's almost like you like Snoop for the same reasons you hate Suge.

I dont admire Suge. Every time I see him on TV, I laugh at the ignorant shit that comes out his mouth. I do admire Snoop's music, but really, Snoop and Suge are alot alike...

Suge along with Dre were the major reasons for DR's success.

I don't think anyone can deny ( even Suge dickriders) that Suge Knight is the one person responsible for the fall of Death Row.  Deep in his heart, he knows this and that's the reason he still talks about Dre and Snoop.

How long has it been since Dre left DR????

Only almost SEVEN YEARS. When you stop to look at the amount of money DR made during the glory years, there is no way that a real businessman would have put his company in debt the way Suge did. Of course, he still lives large.  Where do you think most of the money went?????
