|| AFTERMATH ENTERTAINMENT NEWS AND UPDATES

THE GAME ON GEFFEN RECORDS // July 28, 2006
It's official - Game is off the Math. There were a lot of rumors about The Game leaving Aftermath in the last weeks. The Game is now on Geffen Records.

His upcoming album "The Doctor’s Advocate" is scheduled to release in Nov 7 and features appearances from Nas and Mary J Blige, while production is supplied by Dr. Dre, Cool & Dre, Scott Storch and among others.

In other news, The Game, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Common, Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, Raekwon, Dogg Pound, Bun B, Q-Tip, Mos Def and among others will be on the upcoming album from DJ Hi-Tek. The LP will be released via Hi-Tek Music/Babygrande Records and is slated to hit stores in October.

Game is off the Math but he got a "Undisclosed" amount of money for a 5 album deal with Geffen PLUS he got $50 MILLION DOLLARS for a distribution deal with Interscope for BWS records, so homeboy aint doing too bad.

Plus dre still gone do production for Game

I don't get why Game has to lie and say he never signed a deal with G-Unit, when the whole reason he had to leave Aftermath was so he could avoid releasing The Doctor's Advocate under Aftermath/G-Unit. But in Stop Snitchin', Stop Lyin' he's going off about how he never signed a contract with the Unit, but even on "How We Do" he said "It took two months, but 50 got it done/Signed with G-Unit, had niggas like 'huh'?".

The reason I think Game left Aftermath was because Dre's working with him and 50, they're both beefin', they're both under the same label, but 50's bringing in more money, and he's been working with Dre longer than Game has. So it was probably making Dre uncomfortable, which is understandable, but bottom line is it's a business move, nothing more. Game doesn't need to be on Aftermath to sell records anyways, he'll move units no matter what label he's on.

No, Dre said in an interview a while back that he is not going to work with himself anymore.  But then again, I'm not really sure he was referring to music though.....

It's funny how people so quick to say "fuck Dre" and "fuck Aftermath". Y'all should really say "fuck Game" for ruining that perfect situation he had. Dude blew it, plain and simple. You gonna put a DVD out about your beef with someone on the same label as you that helped you blow up? Stupid muthafucka, he's lucky he's still on Interscope. If his album is anything like the single, it's gonna flop.

He might have taken it too far, but to an extent he had to. If he didn't go to extreme measures, then G-Unit would have won without doing anything and he would have lost a lot of respect in the hip hop community. As far as One Blood, its not an official single, just a street single but im pretty sure the "streets" will eat it up.

I don't see how Game fucked himself up, I think the DVD was a good move, but still hilarious, he could've done sumthin gangsta with it, but anyway...that's part of the honor. I think really fucked up 50 lyrically and proved everyone he's better...I think Dre should see that, if Game has talent, why waste it and not do mixtapes(tho they were plenty,,,that;s not that good) but flood the bitch !
Game gonna keep on shine, would be bad if he gets off Aftermath, but he's a good lyricist and he'll found someone else for production, not that great but, he won't bow down to 50 that's a fact.

Cuz interscope is like any other label.. greedy. As long as they think he can sell, they want their piece.

i wish game the best...but...
lol @ game fans believin this 50 million bs and still thinkin this is a great situaion for him

here is what rebel said 6 months ago after the bishop lamont interview

Question:why didn't they ask a lil' bit more about The Game???

Rebel:I did. But for certian reasons we were not alowed to reveal it.

Question:did the label or publicity not clear that part of the interview?

REbel:
"nah... Bishop asked me not to post it. Label politics, man...you know how it is. I can say this, tho... Interscope is very pissed at The Game for continuing his beef with 50/G-Unit. The problems are between Game & Interscope. According to Bishop and others... Dre is cool with both 50 & Game at the moment."

The fucked up thing about all of this is that Game did what alot of other rappers would do in that situation, respond. 50 did diss Game on the radio after the whole charity stunt. Game responded and responded and in case you forgot he responded again. 50 does say alot of slick shit that he should be checked on, but Game over did it. After 300 bars every else is over kill. Should have just take it easy and stay locked in the studio working with dre.
