Former NYPD cop: 'I know who killed B.I.G.' and he's ready to tell all...


A former NYPD Detective is claiming he is the missing link in the unsolved killings of rap stars Notorious B.I.G, Tupac Shakur and Jam Master Jay.

Nine years after the killing of B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, the LAPD have confirmed this week they plan to reopen the investigation into B.I.G's killing, while at the same time, former NYPD Detective Derrick Parker has issued a statement claiming he knows the identity of the Wallace's killers - as well as being able to aid in the unsolved murders of Tupac Shakur and Jam Master Jay.

"I just hope that the LAPD does things right. Before they do anything they should definitely consult me," Parker - dubbed the Hip-Hop Cop - explained, "There were a lot of things that were missed in the past that they need to know."

A number of media sources are suggesting that the timing of the LAPD probe - ahead of a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the rapper's mother, Voletta Wallace, and other family members - suggests Los Angeles police are keen to unearth evidence which could support the LAPD in court.

A suit filed by Voletta Wallace and company last year failed to reach a verdict other than mistrial, after is was revealed that a police detective intentionally hid a number of statements by a jailhouse informant linking the B.I.G killing to two former officers.
