Police: Bowie Coach Made Sex Tapes With GirlCoach's Court Case Continued Until FridayWASHINGTON -- Police have now said that a former volunteer junior varsity football coach for Bowie High School not only prostituted a 15-year-old girl from the school, but also made sex tapes with her.Arron Burroughs, 35, is charged with first-degree child sexual abuse in the case.According to investigators, some of the tapes were made at the home of one of Burroughs' friends. Sources also told News4 that the friend is a law enforcement officer.Meanwhile, a D.C. Superior Court judge Thursday postponed a hearing for Burroughs until Friday.So far, no charges have been filed against anyone else in the case.Burroughs also found out Wednesday from school officials in Prince George's County, Md., that he can no longer coach.School system spokesman John White told The Washington Post that Burroughs will no longer be welcome at Bowie High School "based on what we know."White said Burroughs was not a school employee, but an unpaid volunteer. The principal of Bowie is planning to send a letter explaining the matter to the parents of players on the team.Detectives arrested Burroughs on Monday evening at a hotel on New York Avenue Northeast, where he was allegedly picking up the girl.News4 reported Wednesday that according to court documents, Burroughs said he and the girl, who is a student at Bowie High School, had sex on numerous occasions and that he began having sex with her when she was 14 years old. According to the documents, the girl said that Burroughs was her pimp.Police said they first caught the 15-year-old girl having sex with a man inside a car at 3 a.m. in Takoma Park, Md. After talking with the girl, police said, she gave them the information they needed to arrest Burroughs and they arrested him in a sting operation.According to court records, the girl told police that Burroughs started taking her to the District in September to engage in prostitution.Burroughs is also a Metrobus driver and Metro said he has been placed on administrative leave.Police said they found 2 pounds of marijuana in his car at the time of his arrest. Court documents reported that Burroughs allegedly admitted selling the drug to help supplement his income.
