« on: January 09, 2002, 02:37:02 PM »
Fuck u if u dont like another topic about kurupt,   this question pretty much for those that are happy to see kurupt go to tha row,  lets say kurupt signed to tha row but after that daz an kurupt never worked again an there friendship ended,  would u still wanna see kurupt go to tha row,  i wouldnt cuz daz an kurupt are like brotheres,  it would be like dre an snoop beefin,  prodigy an havoc,  big boi an andre 3000,  it shouldnt happen like that.

like i said before i don't care what lable is on....just as long as kurupt maintains he same attitude he always has

even though i like kurupt more than daz, i'll be fucking pissed off if kurupt turned his back on his , and i quote, "daz, my closest homeboy" and started acting like one of those brainless gangsters who thinks they're rappers and diss scenclessly, i'll be MIGHTY pissed

if Kurupt goes to tha row and is chocher (sp?) with everyone....more power to him i'll proudly support him

if kurupt goes to tha row and starts acting like a bitch like tha realist and all those other fake thugs who think they're rappers...straight up , fuck kurupt

and if it turns out hes not really on tha row afterall.....straight up fuck tha row ...yet again

i think there's already been a fallout between Daz and Kurupt, considering Daz's site claims Kurupt has been "dogg-napped" by Suge and don't know of his whereabouts.  Also, the mods on that site dissed him, saying he sold his soul to the devil.  Daz hates Tha Row right now and vice versa, and Kurupt migh have had to sit down and think this one through.  Where's the money gonna be at?  What type of artistical direction do I want to go in?  Where can I get the recognition I deserve?  Who has legitamate beef and who is just flat-out hating?  Kurupt never said anything bad about Suge when he left, and Suge hasn't said anything negative bout Kurupt, so I think the option was out there for Kurupt to come back.  Suge knew that for Kurupt to come back, he'd have to offer one fuckin great deal, considering Kurupt had his own label and publishing.

This was not a rushed decision by Kurupt.  He had to have taken his time, and thought this one to the end, and realized where he could have the most success.

I wouldn't be shocked if Suge used this phrase to describe Kurupt joining Tha Row:

If kurupt does go to tha row I think it will fuck up the whole dpgc connection.  First of every past dpg related inmate hates suge knight and the row espescially dre, snoop, and daz.  These three besides nate dogg are the dopest when together on a song with kurupt.  Although I would love it if the row and dpg squashed their beef and connected again I think it will never happen.  First off I would almost bet anything that dre would never ever work with suge or the row ever again, and I don't think I need to explain why.  I also see the same situation with snoop.  Suge fucked him over so bad and continues to fuck him over.  I don't think anything in the world, including millions of dollars, could really take away the hatred that snoop has towards suge.  And Daz, I don't know about him, he is always surprising me.  I sure hope he and kurupt don't start beefing because to me they are the greatest combo in rap, just barely beating out snoop and dre.
And with out kurupt working with these 3 you have no dogg pound, no dpgc reunion, no great dre beats with kurupt rapping.  I really do not see anything good coming out of this.

my bad, I would be a little disappointed, considering the classic work Tha Dogg Pound put out while on Death Row, but if Kurupt makes tight shit with Tha Row, then I wouldn't mind.  Plus, Tha Row has enough talent to make up for the loss of Dre, Snoop, Daz, etc.

Personally.. i think THA ROW's roster (with Kurupt) is better than the DOGGHOUSE & DPG roster, but.. i'd like to see Daz still cool with Kurupt. I'd like to see tha whole WEST united. Fuck that: EAST COAST is destroying us!! WE GOTTA REUNITE THE WEST, and ride on the fake ass rappers from the EAST coast!!

i know this is your opinion and all but....

you mean to tell me that deathrow has more honest talent than dogg house?

seriously deathrow only has 1 good MC on that whole lable , 2 if kurupt is really on there, and every one in the underground thinks kurupt is crappier than snoop now (i don't think that i just think he dumbed his style down to get some well deserved recognition)

campared to 3 substantial MC's

tray deee (who has been quoted as never having a weak verse by various eastcoast critics [who are the strictest critics i can think of])

bad azz

Snoop

??.....that's cool it's your opinion

production???

big hutch vs battlecat, fredwreck, and soopafly??

lol ok, all 3/4 producers  here are overrated (big hutch battlecat and soopafly) but i'd pick fredwreck over anyone in the west except DJ quik and Dr. Dre anyday of the week!

then you got the black backstreet boy ray j vs kokane....lol

and Left Eye...(who's album sucked so bad her record company wouldn't release it)

like i said homie it's your opinion but think before you talk

the only thing tha row's got that's worth checking out is Crooked I and kurupt...if he's really signed

i don't really care for dogg house but they've got more than one or two  things going for them

one of the biggest names ever in rap, a  REAL OG  who has street and critical praise and  3 of the westcoast's premier producers ...and not to mention all the support in the rap industry  i mean god damn snoop litterally can have ANYONE he wants on a dogghouse record

how could you figure that the row's roster could make up for the loss of daz, dre, snoop, etc.
Crooked I is a great artist who has great skills and it would be cool to hear him and kurupt rap again, but it ain't nothing like the classic shit kurupt has done with daz, dre, snoop, nate, etc.
And as for the other inmates-bitch pleez!
I ain't no row hater, I loved deathrow since day one, but in the last few years it has sucked.  The reason it was so great back in 92-96 is because it had great artists and a hard gangsta image.  Now what do they got?  J. Valentine, Nina, PB.  They ain't no gangsta rappers.  I don't know who the fuck spider, or eastwood is so I can't really form an opinion of them, but if they were as dope as snoop, dre, daz, etc. we probably would have heard some shit from them by now.  As for SKG, she is pretty good, but nothing speacial and doesn't come close to being as talented as anyone from dpg.  Above the Law they were good back in the day but ain't heard shit from them in years so I don't know, but even if they are still really dope, do you think Kurupt and ATL could flow as tight as Kurupt and daz.  I think the best artist that the row have besides 2pac are the artists in development.  YGD and Swoop G are tight, but doesn't look like they are comming out anytime soon.  Doobie and the realest suck.  I don't really know about K-9, but the shit I heard from him is decent.

and ANOTER THING for that Eastcoast comment

why are you living in 96'....i don't know if you noticed it but....there's no rivalry between the east, west, or south! and i hate to break your heart but there will forever be more better MC's in the region of Brooklyn alone than in the entire westcoast....so kill that noise and stop being closed minded to rap outside of the westcoast

i ain't calling you out becuase you like the row , i'm calling you out becuase:

your ironicy (the way you diss daz ....yet displayed him and his group in your old avatar)

your hypocracy (you call 90% of this board dickriders, but wouldn't shut up abou warren g for good lord knows how long)

now this about the east coast

damn it's recoculous!

learn some more about hip hop...fuck it , learn some more about music in general before you make quick judgments...same goes for half of this board
