Yeah man, sales are down... Busta's shit struggling to go gold still. Surprising DMX solds as much as he did so far. But record sales have been low across the board this year, oddly enough.

naw, read the chart. but i´m surprised that he sold that much aswell coz Sony does a horrible job with all of their hip hop artists. and that video with him and Swizz came out a long time ago. he missed the first slot with 1000 units so that sucks. but he´s still the only artist in history to have his first 5 albums debuting at #1. as a matter of fact i think he´s the only artist period to have had 5 consecutive albums coming in at #1.

DMX is the only artist to have his FIRST FIVE consecutive albums debut at Number 1.  But I'm sure there are lots of artists who have had 5 consecutive #1 albums.

Of course, he didn't get a 6th in there, but I didn't think he would.  X is a has-been; his past fanbase is the only thing keeping him on the charts right now, and they're dwindling rapidly.  Kinda funny how he had that line about "20 million records sold, while y'all struggling to Gold" on his album, cause I doubt he's gonna go Gold with this one.  Watch it drop rapidly off the charts in the next few weeks...

true about the first 5... don't think so about 5 consecutive albums.. I think Jay did that from 98 to 03 so 6 albums
