What's this I hear about Pepsi Max not being allowed in U.S. ??
It's by far the best sugar free soda on the market..

They say U.S. got Pepsi One instead of Pepsi Max, which is a different formula.
Anybody tasted both, and can tell the difference ?

Yea...I think I saw Pepsi Max in Israel last year when I visited...USA has Pepsi One and Diet Pepsi only...PeACe

Pepsi Max contains Aspartame and Acesulfame K, as the original Pepsi One did. Now though it recently changed, Pepsi One contains Splenda (a sugar based sweetener)...PeACe

It's not the same, they're based on different formulas, but marketed in a similar fashion.
Different sweeteners gives different taste.

Apparently, the Canadians had their own version of Pepsi Max, with 2/3 fewer calories than regular Pepsi.

none of these sodas are sugar free. i swear to god, i looked at this sugar free Coca Cola and on the side it said "sugar added" lol. i´ve seen the same with Sprite,Fanta,Pepsi and it´s funny as hell.

^^ There's no such thing as "Sugar free soda with sugar", LOL. 
There's a difference between "Low calorie soda" and sugar free soda, some is marketed as "light" when there's only a little sugar added.
Pepsi Max is sweetened by aspartame, not sugar.

• Aspartame’s attractiveness as a sweetener comes from the fact that it is approximately 180 times sweeter than sugar in typical concentrations without the high energy value of sugar. While aspartame, like other peptides, has a caloric value of 4 kilocalories (17 kilojoules) per gram, the quantity of aspartame needed to produce a sweet taste is so small that its caloric contribution is negligible

Pepsi Max contains 0.3 calories pr. 100ml, vs. Coca Colas 42 calories per 100ml.
