The WWE has been looking into trademarking "The Game" for Triple H, and they have been in and out of court with The Game since May regarding the trademark of the name.

Don't think that went to court though, think they let it slide, since it is a common name, like "Sugar Ray Lenoard" and "Sugar Shane Mosley".  However I think Vince is paranoid since because of not having the right trademarks, the WWF had to become the WWE, so he's pretty much looking for anything out there that might be remotely confused with any of the wrestlers that work for him.

I think the World Wrestling Federation never really had chance to keep the name because the World Wildlife Fund has been around since 1961. From what I heard Vince´s WWF was just "allowed" to use the name because obviously the one is sports related while the original one was an organization that cared about animals. Once WWF became bigger - than they were in the 80´s -  and moved away from the family entertainment that they were known for in the 80´s early 90´s the World Wildlife Fund just got worried that people might associate WWF with the more sex/violence orientated World Wrestling Federation. I wouldn´t think that any judge would rule for Vince in this case to keep the name.

Game should officially name him Hurricane Game since

a) he wouldn´t have the funds to fight Vince´s lawayers and
b) it sounds better anyway.

I agree, however there may be pockets of people that are Hardcore wrestling fans that might know HHH as "The Game" and could get confused.  Vince probably knows that a lot of people won't get the two mixed up, but it all depends on how long HHH has been using "The Game" as a nickname

might be a nickname, but at the same time though, HHH has been with the WWE for longer than Game has been rapping, and for all we know, Triple H might have merchandise from the late 90's that has "The Game" on it.  If that's the case, than The Game might be in some trouble because while he may have some money to pay legal fees, Vince has enough money to take this as far as legally possible.
