BAY AREA
« on: August 17, 2006, 03:53:54 PM »
There seems to be a new generation of Bay Area stars, besides names like E-40 and Too Short, who have already established themselves on a national scale. In my opinion, Keak da Sneak and Mistah F.A.B., are the two brightest new stars from the Bay Area - although some might disagree. Which Bay Area artist of these two is most likely to blow up nationally? If you think someone else from the Bay Area has a better chance than these guys, please vote for the third alternative and write down who you feel has the best papers.

Ya Boy is on a mixtape that MTV is saying #1 in the streets and he is in the new XXL...id say he has a good chance.

Mistah FAB id say would also fall under that.

I think E-40s son could blow up on a national scale on the production tip.

Rick Rock has blown up HUGE yet alot of people cant name beats hes done.

All of BWS was on power106 in LA this week and Dj Skee was saying its the #1 tape in the streets according to sales and MTV.  In fact Dubcnn has the recorded audio of it.

Everyone I know is like 'this guy ya boy can spit' who have listened to the mixtape so he has pretty good buzz all up and down the westcoast.

My best guess would be the Federation. Rick Rock beats, mainstream appeal and they are the definition of hyphy.
