Sublime's re-release
« on: August 17, 2006, 06:00:03 PM »
Anyone gotten the re-release of Sublime's s/t album that came out this week? I've been hearing a lot about it at work at umgd but I wanted to know if anyone's actually bought it and had any comments about it. It seems pretty sweet, if you don't already know it's a two disc set--the first has Nowell's original idea and sequence for the album and the second has a bunch of remixes and unreleased tracks (you can check out the playlist at myspace.com/sublime). If anyone's heard anything about it let me know! Oh, and I also heard rumors about a box set coming out sometime in the fall...anyone know about that?

Haven’t heard about it. Just checking the track list and it looks like a lot of the tracks on disc 2 were available on other releases. The alt mix of what I got I was released on a indi stk and those acoustic version were on the Bradley and friends cd. The I love my dog track seems new tho, I know it was unreleased before and not in that good quality so I'll pick this cd up.

Enter "Sublime" in Soulseek and you'll get about 30 different bootlegs...I doubt they'd put anything on it that my groupie ass hasn't heard
