didn't DJ Quik call Bungalo records as piece of shit label

why is a name like him signing to a 3rd rate label?

Exactly.  They are a 3rd rate label.  Why would Mannie even associate with the indy market?  Not saying its bad that hes working with artists like Glasses or Suga Free.. just doesnt make sense when hes in high demand by 1st rate artists and labels.

Yes, he's in demand by damn near any artist out right now, but with the lackluster sales of his album and the fact that he hasn't had a single truely blow up in a while, he's not really sought after by CEO's. I'm sure he's looking for a label deal...

This is wierd.  First off, he said he never wanted to do another solo album again after "The mind Of Mannie Fresh," so why would he be signed as a rapper.  Also, Bungalo Records?  That place is a piece of shit.  Why the hell would he sign with them.  He's one of the most recognizable people in rap currently.

Yea he laced Glasses. He's laced up a lot of people lately, cuz he's off of Cash Money and has that ability now. Only thing that's happening now is that he's getting over used and he's starting to just put anything (I feel).

He got outshined on T.I.'s album. He'll get outshined on G.Malone's project. Had Flip dropped his record, I'm sure he'll get outshined there too. The fire's not in him anymore for some reason. He needs an artist like Weezy under him to give him that light, but a situation unlike the one he had with Cash Money.

i think the fire's still in him, but we're used to hearing albums where he produced every track, and now he's just doing one or two beats.

I wish he would've stayed at Cash Money... It's not the same anymore without his signature sound!
