Well, one thing this demonstrates is the simplicity of rap music.  He plays the whole song with 3 chords.

Music doesn't ned to be complicated to be good, and it's not like people didn't know rap wasn't simple for the most part. But I bet no guitarist could complete with something with added sound effects.

You're ignorant.  You just watched a tape of some amateur who can barely play, if you actually paid attention to a guitarist the caliber of Stevie Ray Vaughn for instance, it would blow your puny mind.  Yes; Yes they can compete with 'something with added sound effects'.
