XXL just gave the new Daz album "SO So Gangsta" an L rating.  Damn, Daz got dissed.  It says that his album is just "So So average."  Everything i've heard from the album has been heat.

celly's should have gotten 4 out of 5, maybe 4.5.  I haven't really heard anything from daz new album, but I doubt I will even consider it average.  Quik's last album wasn't all that impressive either, definately the worst album he has ever dropped.

The game is sold , not told.  Stopped using XXL and the source as resources for album reviews a looong time ago.  Now that half the fuckin magazines are adds and shit.... u KNOW they are gettin paid for their "opinions". That's what message boards and talkbacks are for..... I go to the real sources for album reviews now.  Fuck the 'paid-for' opinions.

Yeah, you go on message boards, you're just gonna find a bunch of groupies of that artist.  Not to mention that most of the "reviews" written in our own Vault are fuckin awful and are written as track-by-track reviews which sound unintelligent and don't say shit except "yeah, this track is fyah, yo!"  Critics have far more credibility than fans, any day.

And The Source is OK by me now since Benzino and Dave Mays finally got kicked off it.  XXL, I dunno.
