Outkast has WAY too many fans not to go Plat at a minimum.  But yeah, that is still a HUGE dissappointment.

Music sales are in a slump, its a bad time of the year for albums....always is but its worse than ususal...fourth quarter will see a rise building to christmas, but sales will still be down...

yea, sales have been bad all year. I've just really started to pay attention to sales a few months ago. It's a wonder how T.I. pushed over 500,000 in week 1. Not a knock on him, I think he's great, but that defanitely is suprising.

Paul Wall´s just under 1 million and i think Mike did about 1.5 million.

Yeah, but with the number of fans Outkast has, they'll probably be able to drag it out a bit more.  You simply don't go from Diamond to not Gold THAT quickly, especially with the amount of respect Outkast has.

I'm also kinda surprised Kelis is selling so poorly...even I didn't like the album very much, "Bossy" was a hot-to-death single, so I figured she'd get more than 58K out of that in her first week.

And Rick Ross is still selling pretty well, as is Gnarls Barkley.

No shit this didn't do well. "Hey ya" and Big Boi's single were HUGE! Both those tracks blew up on radio, tv, everywhere. Two of the biggest tracks in the last 5 years. "Mighty O" can't compare to their past singles.
