Yeah, probably my favorite artist from the west. This has gotta be one of the few mc's ever to get better wit time, while others just fall off.

I personally think Yukmouth was at the top of his game on operation stakola.  Its a pretty good argument tho.  He has become a lot more lyrical these days, but back then I thought his voice and flow was so much better.  Plus I thought his raps were a lot more interesting back then, with more substance, now its more about all the same shit that just about every rapper raps about.

no way is yuk king of the west, he ain't even king of the bay, thats 40 watta.  Snoop dogg is the king of the west, has been for years, and most likely will be for years to come.  I got mad luv for Yuk, but when you do the dissin that he has done it just proves that you ain't the king, cause the king wouldn't need to waste  his time with that bullshit, he would be selling platinum regardless.

Very true, but the king also wouldnt put out wack albums for the last 7 years like Snoop.  I cant argue w/ E-40 though, that is a fine choice

How has Snoop put out wack albums for the last 7 years?  LOL, Last Meal & Top Dogg are prolly in the top5 westcoast albums in the last 7 years....You dont sell Platinum with every record by putting out wack albums for 7 years in a row.......The thing with Snoop is, even albums like R&G and Paid the Cost have some wack songs on there, but you still get classic tracks like Ups and Downs, The One & Only ect.  Paid The Cost is prolly my least fav Snoop album, and still, "The One & Only">>>>any track Yukmouth ever put out

Last Meal was very very good, since then nothing but trash.

Nuthin 2 A Boss > Every Snoop track since Go Away.  And this is better than that to.

Funny thing about R&G, I thought it was such trash when I first heard it, and I never even made it through the whole thing.  About a year or longer after it had been out I finally burned it and played it in my truck.  I still don't think its a great album, but it sure as hell is a lot more refreshing than 95% of the rap music that comes out these days.  Its really not that bad, its somewhat innovative.

Yuk's last album Godzilla, has some heaters for sure, but it is filled with so many damn guests, that it just became way too saturated.  Its hard to differentiate that album from other rap albums because of all the guests, and again so much of the lyrics are just like every other rapper.  You can only listen to so much about bling bling and whatnot before its hard to tell the difference between any of it.
