Game didn't have the talent to make it big on his own. Without 50 and Dre game would still be strippin or telling lies about him being in a coma, or something. Game is a below average rapper who needed Dre and 50 to make his career. Now that game has his own career, he is screwing up his record label, boring his fans with shitty diss tracks, and basically lieing about everything in every interview he does. The guy needs a kick in the neck and to go back down to reality.

Because NOW, being affiliated with 50 doesn't mean a whole lot.  But in late-2004/early-2005 when Game first came out, riding with G-Unit and having Dre beats meant you were automatically gonna be highly anticipated.  Everyone may hate G-Unit now and they may be falling off, but nobody can deny that from 2003 to early-2005, they were commercially-fuckin-dominant.

Game is a legit talent, yes, and I'm sure he could make a good album without Dre or 50.  But let's face it - he doesn't have enough appeal to the general population without being his industry affiliation (again, back when that meant something).  There is no way he's gonna top "The Documentary" commercially if not artistically, no way he's gon beat 50's next album (whenever that comes out).

Also please don't forget the fact that there have been a lot of rappers who came out this year and flopped: Busta, Juvenile, DMX, Obie Trice, and most recently Outkast...all cats who were selling Platinum only about 2 years ago.  In case you ain't noticed, hip-hop is really losing commercial strength this year, and only a very few rappers (T.I., Chamillionaire, Gnarls Barkeley) are selling Platinum.  I think Game is most def gonna be among those who suffer.
