How come no one picked up one this?

Whats up with kokanes album being released by 'Snoop's Dogghouse Records through Dre's Aftermath Entertainment'

So they've teamed up for business now... could (should?) they merge?

What It Is Is, Snoop's Looking For A Way Around His Contract With Priority Records.  He Wants To Release Stuff On His Own Label, But He's Still Got 2 Records (Or3) That He Owes Priority, And Owes Suge A Percentage Of... So, He's Set Up His Label So That It Can Be Distributed Through Any Label He Chooses.

He's Gonna Distribute His Own Records Through Priority, And He Distributed Bad Azz's "Personal Business" Through Priority... He's Putting Eastsidaz And Doggys Angels Through TVT, And Now He's Got Kokane Coming Through Aftermath...

It's Almost Like Work For Hire.  I Don't Think They'll Merge, Because It's So Easy To Have Your Own Company Today, The Two Could Easily CoExist... I Just Think It's Beautiful That They Can Work With WHoever They Want Now, And Not Have To Worry About The Money Aspects.

I Mean, If You Think About It, We're Probably Gonna See DOZENS Of DPG Related Releases!  They'll Probaby Be Another 3-4 Dre albums , 5-6 Snoop Albums, 2-3 DPG Albums, 4-5 Kurupt Albums, 213, Snoopadelic, "Sky", Kokane, Eastsidaz... They'll All Be Bangin' 20 Years From Now...

I don't know if dre will be rappin' when he is 55 but he can still make tight beats. plus he could could get better at producing (which is possible) you never know what could happen.

And we shouldn't kill him yet LOL, because for every album he makes he also make a shitload of unreleased songs. If he makes another two albums the there could be maybe 200  more unreleased songs to add to all the old shit.

Then when he retires/dies they could either slowly sell his unreleased shit (over 10-20 years) or make boxed sets of about 6 to 8 CD's for about $100. They have sold Unreleased Frank Sinatra and other singers shit like that so they could do it for Dre.

Lets hope dre doesn't have a will for not releasing his unreleased songs. (that would be messed up)

seriously though dre will be making music til he is like 60. I could see him producing artist 20 years from now. He is a legend.  I used to think dre and snoop should merge but they should have there own companies. They need to grow. They shouldn't have to "share" the label. As trauma said they can coexist. They are cool. It's not like they are gonna have a beef with each other if they aren't on the same label. As long as they make music together it's all good.

Loud needs to drop some of their artist because profits are down and they have a large roster. Of course they wouldn't release xzibit.

Back when 2001 was just gettin released, Dre said he'd stay in the game for another 10 years.  Then sit back and handle all the business for another 25.  It was in Blaze magazine.
