meth only has himself to blame...he said himself that Def Jam were trying to get him to shoot videos and do promo and he refused...he shot himself in the foot...62k is poor for an artist like him...as for the Roots, the whole idea with Def Jam Left is to not spend much on promotion outright, but try and generate more sales through touring and try boost the sales over a long-term period, rather than in the first few weeks...the budget for promo etc is a lot less than the major artists, so its no surprise that Game Theory only sold 61k...
