no I didn't.  but he comes back a few months later on tour with them.  I don't give a fuck about his reason.  snoop put tech on game.  he gave tech the spotlight.  Me, You and everyone elson on this forum wouldn't know who the fuck tech was if it weren't for snoop.

Personally, I don’t feel so enthusiastic about Snoop Dogg anymore. I like his older material, but anymore I look at him as a cross over pop artist. I mean, what’s this gangsta talk about how he’s a Long Beach Crip and all that then he raps with Justin Timberlake. I understand marketing and trying expand your audience, but Justin Timberlake? Who next? Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton? Come on man. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of Snoop’s songs, but if you need a true leader, I feel street credibility is key, especially in gangsta rap. You can’t deny Snoop Dogg credit for all the artists he’s brought up either and the money he’s generated for hip-hop. So credit is de to him, but come on. Even 50 cent recognizes this, why else would he make films and constantly try to convince he audience of how real he is? Anyway, I’m all for the up and coming talent on the West, it’s about time, but Snoop…come on.

maybe he took his idea from 2pac who did songs with Jon B and many r&b and pop singers.. It's not a big deal if you think about it.

Justin Timberlake works with Pharrell and Timbaland.. Pharrell and Timbaland are both premier producers in the rap/hip hop game. It's easy to see them hooking up on a song if Snoop's fucking with them both, especially since pharrell does most of his music. i would of loved to see Justin Timberlake sing the hook to "Beautiful" then to see Pharrell on that track. JT has a better voice than Pharrell.

Anyways..

musically, i don't think anyone should limit themselves to one style of music regardless of their personal background. If Snoop can go platinum off selling g-funk, southern, gangsta and r&b albums, then congrats to him. We should be encouraging it, rather than hating on it.
