Author Topic: Remember everybody saying JD would never drop a Daz album on So So Def?  (Read 1039 times)

Nima - Dubcnn.com

Well he is dropping it, "So So Gangsta" is in stores TOMORROW, and it's in my Top 3 of 2006. The album is banging from top to bottom, definitely Daz best effort since R.A.W...

Those of you saying the album is too short... go get your copy of Doggystyle, then think again. Better yet, go get your copy of Regulate, Illmatic, 36 Chambers..

Go get your copy tomorrow!

It shouldnt be about the length of an album (unless the artist / company really taking the p*ss and releasing a full price 5 track "album" then i might complain lol its about the quality of whats on it...and Nima if u saying this will be up there with the likes of 36 chambers, regulate, diggystyle and illmatic then im copping it for sure  8)

I'm copping it for sure, I hope he doesn't flop, but I can't see it selling any more than "Cali Iz Active," maybe even less because this doesn't have Snoop on the cover.

I'll be copping. Only full tracks I've heard so far are "On Some Real", "Weekend" and "Money On My Mind". Heard bits and pieces of the songs on MySpace ("Strizap" and "DPG Fo' Life") but neither all the way through. Hope it's as good as many people on here are claiming!

Yep.
Best Daz album in a while, but not in the top 10 albums of 2006 or anything.

nima fareal?  I wasn't sure about this album but if you are saying its his best effort since R.A.W then I might have to go cop it.  Haven't heard anything from the album but was debating on if it really was worth checking for.

Top 3 of this year though?  Alot of good westcoast albums this year.....

Not impressed with this album, so I won't be buying it.....This board is hyping this album up much more than it should be...Everyone is going crazy over this album and Kurupt's latest solo album, but hated the "Cali Iz Active" album, which was a really good album....Hope Daz does well with his major release, but I don't see it selling that much or at least what he said it would sell....Daz needs to bring bacc the heat he dropped on albums like "RR&G" and "R.A.W." and change the title to this album to either "So So Wacc", "So So Garbage" or "So So Dissapointing" or just "So So" :(

LOL...U Mad? Fag
Fuck that fake ass crip Crip2nite.  Gets on my nerves how some people on these forums

It does have a catchier single then cali iz active. So maybe its gonna blow a little bit up.
