I've barely even watched MTV since like 1998 and have been listening to hip hop for like 10 years now and i agree who knows what would've happened to 50 without Em or Dre? He still would've been tight because he was tight before he signed to Shady. Hes always been a tight rapper and always will be a tight rapper and on top of that hes a good businessman too. I also agree with the fact that if he was still underground he wouldn't have recorded any of his pop like tracks like "21 Questions", "Candy Shop", "So Amazing", "Best Friend" etc. But you know why he records tracks like that on a major label? because he knows he can make millions of dollars off of them. Its just like how some people claim Snoop Dogg went from gangsta to pop he did that for the money and he still spits hard shit on most of his music. Same thing with Jay-Z and Nas (a lil bit). 

Yeah lets guess how old everyone on here is that really makes you cooler  and to correct you im probably older than you by the sounds of it.

50 was well known before Dre and Em hooked up with him, lot of other labels wanted him becuase 50 knows how to create buzz. Now Game on the other hand was unkown and many have said like Hittman for example that he wouldnt drop an album if it wasnt for 50 Cent.

You gave away yourself with that comment. Your support for 50 makes you blind to really judge his music. He exposed Ja cuz he was singing. Whats 50 doing now? The same thing Ja was doing. People like 50 are destroying hiphop. Its gettin to commercial, and its only about the money.
Take Ice Cube for example, he did go with the flow with his new album. But lyricly hes spittin just as hard as he did back then. Thats why rappers like 50 dont get no respect from REAL hiphop head, and rappers like Ice Cube still get the same respect they got back in the day. To me thats more important then scoring a Candyshop hit song.
