« on: September 12, 2006, 03:37:47 AM »
DonKilluminati.com -  First of all thank you for taking the time to let us at DonKilluminati.com conduct this interview.

DonKilluminati.com - How long have you been rapping?

Bishop Lamont - Since I was 13.

DonKilluminati.com -  What rappers have influenced you?

Bishop Lamont -Mostly west coast artists...Eazy-E, 2Pac, NWA, my nigga Dre, Ras Kass, C-Arson rep, Ice Cube, Too Short, E-40, Spice 1, Snoop, Warren G, Kurupt, Tash all the classics from the Dub.

DonKilluminati.com -  How did you come to meet Dr. Dre?

Bishop Lamont -He heard the mixtape, got in touch through mutual connections

DonKilluminati.com -  What is your relationship like with Dr. Dre?

Bishop Lamont -He's a mentor, not in the fact that I’m around him all the time but when Im in the studio he's a guiding force.

DonKilluminati.com -  Do you speak to The Game at all?  (This interview was conducted before The Game dissed Bishop Lamont)

Bishop Lamont -Never met dude.

DonKilluminati.com -  You music is in a few video games, which of these games do you think gave your music the most notoriety?

Bishop Lamont -Cop that new Madden 07...[laughter] but probably the Streets of LA

DonKilluminati.com -  How much do you expect The Reformation to sell?

Bishop Lamont -I can't even say, I hope fans embrace it cause it will be a classic record

DonKilluminati.com -  Is Scott Storch going to be producing anything on your next album?

Bishop Lamont -Hopefully we can connect again for a track

DonKilluminati.com -  What is it like working with a perfectionist like Dr. Dre?

Bishop Lamont - Time consuming, but the music is so fresh you can't hate the work put into it

DonKilluminati.com -  Is The Detox coming anytime soon?

Bishop Lamont - All I can say is it will be worth the wait.

DonKilluminati.com -  Will you be featured on The Detox?

Bishop Lamont - I along with other artist contributed tracks but the final track listing is up to Dre

DonKilluminati.com -  What is taking Dre so long with this album?

Bishop Lamont - As you already said he's a perfectionist

DonKilluminati.com -  Will Mel-Man be co-producing on the album?

Bishop Lamont - Again up to Dre, i know they did some tracks

DonKilluminati.com -  How do you feel about the current dispute between The Game and 50 Cent?

Bishop Lamont - Don't worry about it

DonKilluminati.com -  Did 50 Cent go to far by saying that if Dr. Dre worked on the next Game album that he would have beef with Dre?

Bishop Lamont - 50's a smart dude he ain't gonna fuck himself over for some stupid shit

DonKilluminati.com -  Besides Dr. Dre which producers would you like to be on your next album?

DJ Quik, Battlecat, Warren G, Jus Blaze, and one NY legend who I can't mention at the moment

DonKilluminati.com -  What kind of sound do you plan on bringing to the industry?

Straight westcoast

DonKilluminati.com -  Who was your favorite artist in NWA?

Bishop Lamont - That’s a tough one, Cube probably, Dre constructed those records but i thought DOC was a beast on his first album, wait Eazy...ahhh fuck it I can't decide

DonKilluminati.com -  What song did you like better “Dre Day” or “Real Compton City G’z”?

Bishop Lamont - Dre Day was a better song but Eazy's shit was on some wow shit

DonKilluminati.com -  Are you going to be on that Eazy-E tribute album?

Bishop Lamont - No clue

DonKilluminati.com -  Do you ever plan on getting into producing?

Bishop Lamont - Maybe in the future, right now I’m just trying to make the most i can with this rap shit

DonKilluminati.com -  Dr. Dre sparked the career’s for Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, and The Game. What is it like to be in that company?

Bishop Lamont - An honor

DonKilluminati.com -  Thanks for your time.

ahahaha, this is exactly how bishop is,
it can really be frustrating talking to dude, cause he answers so short
its question -> answer
no real conversation

oh boy, it'll be fun watching TV interviews with him in the future...

WTF @ him never having met Game....I don't believe that for some reason. I know many people who aren't even rappers or people in their circles who've met both.
