And the Vans song is tight.. All I can say is that a lot of people don't like the shoes but the song go! I'm sick of niggaz hatin on the Bay's movement tho, especially internet niggas from L.A and So. Cal. Ya'll hate us more than NY and South niggaz. Crazy, and we ain't never did shit but support ya'll. We canme with hyphy while L.A wasn't doin shit at all, niggas stand on the sideline and hate for hella months until ya'll make up some bullshit "new west" movement at the last minute tryna bite us n shit. Ain't nobody have no movements before us, now they call everything a movement. We had a New Bay movement in 2002 that got wiped out by the OG's, now we got hyphy. Now they talkin bout Crunk, Snap, New West, nigga hyphy is the only movement cuz! That's why niggas can critisize the Bay as a whole so easily, because we're all together on this. People who are all working towards a common goal, bringing the Bay back. Niggas need to make a Bay and an L.A section on this site, coz the Bay Area is not a part of the west coast. This is like an unincorporated island, fuck everybody. You can't accept hyphy, then don't listen and just get off our dicks, we ride our own nuts out here. And Berkeley ain't the reason that they wear Vans, them niggas is from South/West Berkeley and if niggaz knew anything about Berkeley those are the hood parts, the skateboard/hippie parts are downtown/uptown/north..  But 90% of u niggaz on here are from So. Cal and the Bay niggas on here are from Stockton, Sacramento, etc. and just front like they're from the Bay. Classic albums like "Get in where you fit in" by Short and "In a major way" by 40. The Bay had a very unique sound on the West and I kinda feel like Hyphy is more of a West version of Crunk. I realise cats gotta update they shit but I wish they would have took the old Bay sound and flip it for the new era. And New West meant new attitude, new frame of mind but dudes started getting it tangled. When L.A. was top in the 90's they never said fuck the rest L.A.'s the best. They said West Coast. I heard the song where the cat says "We rep the Bay we dont rep California". What's up with that?  Peace Sono.

im from san francisco, and i still aint in all that hyphy music.  like you said, its a trip on how the sound has changed so much.  "Get in Where you Fit in" was funky as fuck!  you campare tht album to those of today and its like this new sound has no elemants of the old sound.  but it is what it is.  i miss the old bay.     oh yea, fuck who ever said "We rep the Bay we dont rep California."(i think it was federation.)
