Well.. since i'm not a Cali boy and i was about 5-10 years old when they made their best albums... i'm asking you more infos about em. I've heard some recent shit. And some classic shit.

In particular i started to listen to rap with The Chronic. And they dissed Eazy E in half of the tracks. And Ruthless. Could some1 please explain me why? Plus.. i've heard recent tracks (for example "Fuck the beef, ni**a i miss you" from Dr.Dre 2001), or Chin Check ("God bless the memory of Eazy E"), etc.. and they are giving props to him.

Could some1 please explain this shit? How the beef started? Why? Plus.... is it official? Is Snoop the new Eazy E? (in the new NWA, i mean!).

The beef started when Dre wanted to leave Ruthless Records to start his own thing (wich later became Death Row Records)
Of course the Ruthless CEO Eric Wright(Eazy) didnt want to release Dre cuz he had contract with Ruthless and of course cuz he is such a good producer. Of some reason, Eazy did let him go (there are rumours that Suge Knight went to Eazy´s office and "made" him release Dre from Ruthless) and after that Dre & Suge started Death Row and i guess you know the rest.

The beef was mostly Dre n Eazy. That shit been goin on fah YEARZ. itz about contractz n money issuez. Dre feel that Eazy was jackin him. Cus Eazy had it set up tah where he was makin money off Dre'z albums. Originally tha group had a small beef wit cube, cus cube left NWA n wouldnt sign tha contract that their record company offered. but that shit was resolved when the resta tha group realized Cube was right in leaving. (he was tha first tah see that they were gettin played). n fah snoop bein in NWA, u couldnt pick a betta candidate. but, i dont agree wit it. NWA aint NWA witout Eazy. n cant nobody replace him. u dont jus REPLACE sumbody afta they die. i like snoop rappin wit them. but fah real, i think outta respect theyd be betta off jus rappin tha 3 of em, cube, ren, n dre. but they know havin snoop wit em gonna help sell mo recordz yah know? but itz all good.

atually it was like this. in 89, cube left nwa bcoz of money problems. then in 91 i think, dre wanted to leave too but the eazy and jerry didnt let him out of his contract. as dre and suge got cool wit eachother and wanted to start deathrow, suge said hed help dre outta his contract. rumours are, that suge went to eazys house wit like 10 guys wit baseball bats and shit and forced eazy-e to sign dre the permission to leave. so dre got out and there the beef started. dre and eazy dissed each other, first in interview and shit. then eazy i think dissed snoop dogg too so the beef got bigger. dre & snoop vs ruthless. l8r BG Knoccout & Gangsta Dresta made a track called Dogg pound Killa where they dissed thehole clique and dpg responded with what would you do (oh yea fuck bg knoccout and every nigga down with him -daz). eazy responded wit "whut would u do" where he dissed the pound too. then when the newz that eazy got aids got official, dre suddenly feeled how stupid this hole thing was... coz dre m eazy were homies since they were kids!! but when dre went to see eazy, it was already tooo late. R.I.P.. he hadnt had time to say goodbye to eazy and that was a big shock for dre. so from then on, dre said peace to eazy. and i think the beef between the pound & bg & dresta is squashed too as dresta and nate dogg had a track toether on chronic 2000..

fah real, that album 187umm...killa was one of tha tightest i heard. i mean, it only had like 8 trackz i think. n that hurt it. but shit, as far as diss trackz....that might be tha best shit ive heard. Eazy really got all up in Dre'z ass on that album. i alwayz like eazy....n alwayz like dre....but when that album came out, shit....Eazy impressed me. too bad hez gone, cus a NWA reunion wit all 4 of em would be off tha fukin hook. n if they managed tah hook up wit sum otha westcoast rappaz, snoop n hiz crew, maybe even E-40 n summa them foolz. thatd easily be tha biggest rap tour eva....

the beef was started when dr dre was talking shit on ruthless so he left ruthless... so after a while Eazy-e though they just left eachother alone and let them do there thang (no beef) untill some homie of eazy beeped eazy and told him that snoop and dre are working on a song called dre day to diss him... so eazy started working on a diss back but he didnt even hear the song... later on dre came out with the album the cronic and eazy started on the rest of hes album "its on 187 dr dre" eazy got support from 9/10 % of the rappers that know dr dre and that about how the beef started!

And yall also forgot to mention that cube and dre WERENT getting paid, lol.  Ruthless' standpoint was, Dre and Cube got houses, they're rich, but it was the same thing that was going on at deathrow, they didn't have any money.  Cube said he got paid 40 grand for 2 years worth of tours, and for his writing and mc'ing on his 2 albums he did with them.  That's chump change, cuz they considered him a chump.

Suge was also the D.O.C.s bodyguard. But, i dont think he actually did it for NWA themselves, but he would have been around as they obviously would have been @ the same performances etc.

Another thing not mentioned above, is the Dee Barnes fiasco.
Just after Cube had left NWA he was interviewed on her show standing on street as the interview closed, and the credits rolled cube mimmicked the DOCs (now shattered) voice and ends it with saying "ya'll cant play me".
Dre was digusted as he had thought she a close friend, drunk at a club  she says he beat her up in the toilets, smashing her head against a wall, dragged her out and then threw her down some stairs.  dre says he argued with her, and pushed her away from him a few times. she filed a 22 million suit against him, they settled out of court for a unknown 6 figure sum.

one more thing, Dre & Cube made up waaaaaay before eazy's death (and before chin check),
They did Natural Born Killers together for the MWTC soundtrack and planned to do Helter SKelter together.
Dre also dropped Keep Their Heads Ringin for the Friday soundtrack. Funnily, Keep Their.. and NBK are among his best works.
