Yo homie, you made a mistake putting Eminem in that category.  Don't forget MTV never showed any support for the D-12 record.  Eminem doesn't pander to MTV or radio.  And BET, radio, and MTV may be wack but that doesn't justify you leaving hip-hop... Nas is still going to sell 400,000 first week, that's good news.. peace... But yeah, I miss the mid 90's... if this was the mid-90's Xzibit's "Get Your Walk On" would be number 1 on MTV right now.. peace.

Didn't Eminem have his very OWN show of TRL?
and wasnt Real Slim Shady & My Name Is made to sell records on MTV? I'm not saying he's a pop artist, but dont say he has Never made stuff for MTV

Leaving hip hop just cause others are not supporting your artists is stupid. I know alot of talented cats aren't getting their props but its been like this ever since the beginning. And it's like that in every music genre so it ain't like only rappers are gettin' robbed.

That's just how capitalism is.

And another thing,

I don't think its cool to hate on those cats you listed above because they are successful, hate the people who support them.

The best we can do is support the peeps we like and that's how its always gonna be.

Techniec isnt a music fan..bottom line.  If he was a music fan he'd listen to shit for the music and wouldnt care about how many copies it sells.

2 big thumbs down to Techniec.

And before you complain Techniec about how Im an asshole, at least attempt to explain to me why youd stop listening to rap because it doesnt sell?  Yup-times up.  Find a new genre to listen to, Sunshine.

When did I say he NEVER made music for the radio and MTV??  Eminem made two songs for radio and MTV, and that was My Name Is, and The Real Slim Shady, that's two songs.. compare that to Jay-Z who makes whole albums, he admits that throughout the album he's playing to the radio.. he admits that shit.. 98% of Eminem's music is not made for the radio.

I agree totally SugeFight... For Once.

I Hate How The Game Is Run, So I Run In My Way and Listen To What I Like... I could Care Less If Warren G Hit's 89, I Could Care Less If "Kokane Ruins Every Song He's On" .... Music is an ART, ever since I remembered art is arbitrary and there is no right or wrong.

Thanks for agreeing-but we agree on the majority of musical issues.  Im just more vocal when somebody on this board acts stupid and you always try to be someones friend-thats where we're different.  But musically-we see eye to eye for the most part.  (save the nas/jigga thing)

i wasnt speaking SPECIFICALLY about the music itself, just the bullshit, that is being forced down our throat, i feel, and im sure that all you would agree with me, that this is the WORST period in hip hop history,

basically i went from a millionaire to a bum
from the beauty of the west coast dominance in the 90's to this?...

im not in this music for record sales it jst frustrates me when some one WHO used to sell and was appreciated isnt anymore, bullshit. i dont expect brotha lynch hung to go platinum or anything like that, its just that, there is so much bullshit in this game today,

like before i used to be open minded and appreciate a "mainstream tune" now ive retreated to a small selection of hiphop artists

warren is still bangin
nates cd , i heard it once and didnt like it , i dunno maybe itll grow on me
i love snoop, but crip this bitch that is really getting annoyin with me
same with fuckin kurupts same fuck a bitch shit

dre dont do the old shit no more....

i dunno, im not giving up on hip hop,its just that i am feeling less and less comfort in it

ps: eminem is commercialized, hes in the same boat as ja rule and nelly
