Of course he cares about his fans.  This is his whole life and career.  If he has to wait to bring you something better in terms of quality and hard work, he's going to take that route.

Crooked may not have dropped an album, but he did take care of his fans: Westcoastanostra, Young Boss Vol. 1 and Vol.2 plus a lot of other songs got released through the Internet over the years. So in terms of music, I'm satisfied.
But yeah, having an album out is essential for an artist - especially for someone like Crooked I, who in my opinion has the power to establish himself as a credible artist in the game: he's a talented lyricist, he knows how to write songs, can come up with nice hooks, knows how to pick beats, has commercial appeal and is respected by the fans.

I haven't lost faith in Crooked. His album is my most anticipated one actually. I'm just not coming on the Internet anymore waiting for an anouncement every single day. If the release date is announced, I'll be extremely happy. Until then, I'm bumping his mixtapes

As great as it would be to see a Crook album, and have it be major, we at Dubcc have been hearing that same story for 3 years now, and it just doens't look like it's gonna happen ever.
