That's how the music industry is. However...a lot of Bay music that came before hyphy wasn't as commercially appealing as what they are doin right now. There was some music that only Bay people could get into...although there were some songs that anybody could ride with.

Seeing how E-40(Vallejo) presents it, and how EA-Ski(Oakland) did the beat, I wouldn't seperate it like that. When Tell Me When To Go came out niggas wasn't like, Vallejo and Oakland are on the rise. The Bay is on the rise, Rich may not be all that hyphy but hyphy is the only reason he's on TV, and he does have 2 or 3 hyphy tracks on his album, so it ain't just Frisco, quit seperating the Bay.
