Akwid. New rappers representing L.A.
« on: October 02, 2006, 12:22:19 PM »
These guys on hard. I heard some of thier songs while working at Universal and thier flow is crazy.   They sound like Snoop and N.W.A with a latin twist.  It is about time we have some new faces representing L.A. and the whole entire West Coast.  I found a link, so check it out. http://www.myspace.com/akwid

their not that new, this is there third or fourth album.........as far as the comparisons to snoop and nwa....that comparison is way, way off imo.......its banda rap (for those who dont know what 'banda' is, think of the music you hear coming outta big trucks driven by mexicans, that have alotta bass and accordions and now imagine fools rapping over that in spanish and there you go)....their real popular out here amongst latin kids although neither me or my homies would ever bump that.........but their cool i guess, i aint hating on my own gente at all, wish em' luck...........oh yeah, and i aint feelin' that album cover either to be honest.....i aint offended by it, i just think it wasnt exectued properly as far as the concept......as far as them being deported, their legal as far as i know.......not all mexican americans in this country came here illegally.......ya'll buy into that republican propoganda too damn much in here..............

LMAO @ New rappers. These cats are in their 30s by now, they're not new. They were around as English Rappers under different names before. LMAO @ Sounding like Snoop and N.W.A. Worst street team ever.
