WOw that was really amazing. This song is so much better than all the other songs that have leaked. X is gifted seriously, this song suddenly makes me anticipate the album much more, this kind of production suits X so much better than the recent shit he's been doing... this goes right hand in hand with "Paparazzi, Foundation, Birds Eye View" etc.

Great track, if only he'd pick better beats for the other tracks too.

Amazing song. Best song i've heard in a while (by anyone, not just X). His lyrics are soooo strong. For any one who doesn't no much about his music, and say he's just a washed up rapper, with his own t.v. show, should listen to this song. Guaranteed thier opinion will change. I really think (don't anyone get mad @ me if you don't agree) X is one of the GREATEST lyricists EVER.

That was a good performance. X's voice slightly breaks down at certain moments because of the emotions.
I wish he'd do more of these songs instead of tring to keep that 'gangsta' image. He's always been good at making heartfelt songs or songs where he kicks knowledge.

Great song and great performance, this man rocks the mic live, it's songs like this that will unfortunately lead me to false expectations about his album . Some of his beats are very suspect as was mentioned before so lets hope his new album will be him returning to deep lyrics and great music like that. Most of all though how deeply refreshing was it to see that he doesnt need his voice backed up by someone else, a break away from that annoying trend.

It's funny, one of my boys who listens to Hip Hop (not nearly as much as me, but he knows whats up) was telling me about X performing on David Letterman.  He didn't know what the song was called, so I just assumed it was "Concentrate" which I thought was a pretty wack song.  But he was hypin it saying it was incredible, and X gave a great performance.

I'm glad it turned out to be this song, or else I was gonna question my boy's cred.  Anyway, very good performance by X and you could tell by the ovation at the end that the crowd was REALLY feeling it.  And I guarantee you that a lot of those peeps in the audience were middle aged non hip hop fans, and they felt that shit cuz he came with some honest lyrics that you can relate to, and connected really well with the crowd.

Thats what blows my mind about hip hop today.  If some of these artists would be honest and heartfelt in their music, it will be well received by lots of people.  Instead they think they have to cater to a specific sound or audience.  Anyway great song and performance by X.

That's right genuine lyricists have the power to touch everyone white and black young and old male and female but instead it there is a lot of forced club garbage and equally forced gangster crap.

Yo! that was really powerful.

For some reason I thought of Em's "Stan" and how powerful that track was...

Big ups to X to the Z!
