Hey Chief or any other Australians....
« on: October 09, 2006, 04:12:47 PM »
Where in Australia is there a large Italian population? Like i remember seeing big street parties and shit in Australia when they won the WC and wondering where it was?....Its just Scotland play Italy in March, and again in November, and just think it would be good fun to watch it with loads of Italians, as there will be a great atmosphere i would imagine. I will prolly be in Sydney then, so somewhere near there would be good. Cheers

Sydney has a big italian population out to the West of the city
Melbourne probably has the biggest italian/european population

Perth's really isn't too big, alot of asians now in Perth though

Canberra (where i now live) is made up of 98% white people

I knew Melbourne had a lot of Greeks and i kinda guessed they would have most eyeties as well. Oh well, i got friends in Melbourne and family in Sydney no biggie, just want some football fans 2 watch the game with.

And if i am getting the train/bus form M.Bourne to Sydney, does it go through Canberra?

no doubt.

when the date is closer remind me, i'll let you know what are some good places to visit... but i'm sure your fam will know some sweet spots... W.A is good for travelling around and chillin out on beaches, the night life isnt the best, but it's pretty easy to pick up, and also pretty easy to get into a fight... heard on the news today part of the problem is the shortage of taxi's in perth, people wait for hours for a taxi and end up starting shit... LOL

bus from Melbourne to Sydney won't goto Canberra

you don't come to Canberra unless;
- you have family here
- you want to make money

i dislike all but my brother of my family, and wanted to make money, so moving here was the obvious choice for me. retarded people annoy the hell out of me, so the less people around me the better
