Hi-Tek Returns With "Hi-Teknology 2" On October 17 - October 10, 2006 By : Rud

Accomplished producer and emcee Hi-Tek is almost ready to release his highly anticpated sophomore set "Hi-Teknology 2" on October 17th courtesy of Babygrande Records.

The album will feature guest spots from a who's who of hip-hop's elite including Nas, Common, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Jadakiss, Papoose, Bun B., Ghostface Killah & many more). What's more Hi-Tek will be offering up two versions of the record: the standard release and a Limited Edition version that can only be purchased from Best Buy featuring 3 bonus tracks.

The Limited Edition includes appearances from Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, Mos Def, Raphael Saadiq & more as well as a bonus DVD which consists of the video for "Where It Started At (NY)" with Jadakiss, Papoose & Talib Kweli, a "Making A Beat From Scratch" documentary piece hosted and narrated by Hi-Tek (a behind the scenes look at the creative
process resulting in the already critically acclaimed production from
the album) and much more.

Hi-Tek, one of Dr. Dre's most prized in-house producers, has already been awarded an XL rating by XXL Magazine for "Hi-Teknology 2", as well as being designated an official OkayPlayer.com sanctioned artist...a rare display of prestige reserved for select musical luminaries and pioneers.

Ensure you grab a copy of this incredible sophomore set on October 17 and stay tuned to dubcnn for an exclusive interview and giveaway.

This album is a banger. My favorite songs are the last 2 songs, the one about music with Common and Nas and the one with Bun B and Devin the Dude.
